PyMat version for python 2.2 and Matlab 6 ??

Hi,

PyMat is a Python module that enables access to Matlab
(http://claymore.engineer.gvsu.edu/~steriana/Python/pymat.html).

Unfortunately, the available version needs Python 2.0 and is designed
for Matlab 5. I wonder if somebody knows if there is a version for
python 2.2 and Matlab 6 around ??
