best python editor/ide for windows

I tend to agree with you, but I run a Python interpreter as an
inferiour process (subprocess) in Emacs, which is my editor of choice,
and from there I can very quickly evaluate a function, class, the
region (in Windows speak: whatever you have marked) and such, and this
is absolutely invaluable. I haven't noticed that anyone else has
talked about any other editor being able to do this, though with all
the traffic I might easily have missed it. Are there any that can?
