I do like the use of the sentence, "Real programming languages are
Turing complete only if we ignore the constraints of finiteness."  The
choice of the word _real_ is rather ironic, since no real programming
language could ever ignore the constraints of finiteness.  (To the
authors' credit, by _real_ they meant something more like _true_ or
_pure_.)
