Digitally signing email messages

Hi all,

I have been working lately with a library called M2Crypto to digitally
sign multipart mime messages. M2Crypto, however, is no longer
available and the only howto document is no longer hosted. Does anyone
know of an alternate library which has the same functionality, or has
anyone used M2Crypto and have any examples of digitally signing
multipart mime messages?
