I recently read the OCaml tutorials over at http://www.ocaml.org, and it 
stretched my brain a fair bit.  It's syntax was familiar enough not to 
totally confuse me, but several of the concepts were very different from 
C/Python/Perl/Ruby/etc.

Icon, over at http://www.cs.arizona.edu/icon/, is also quite worth 
looking at if you want to broaden your horizons.
