Licenses

Hello all,

	I'm getting ready to release an alpha version of an application, and 
I'm looking at licenses to attach to it.  Since the Python code is 
plain as day, for now I would like some sort of license that allows the 
user access to the code, but not to modify or distribute it.  I 
certainly appreciate the GPL, and maybe I'll use it for this project 
later on, but for now I want some freedom before I commit all-the-way 
to an "open source" license like the GPL.  I have looked on Google and 
on some pages such as the OSI's homepage, but no luck so far.  I am 
open to persuasive arguments either way, but I would also like examples 
of the sort of license I mentioned.
