PyUNO connection to OpenOffice

I think you've exhausted our expertise (I know you've exhausted mine ;-).
At this point I think you need to go back to the StarOffice/OpenOffice folks
(or maybe the PyUNO folks) and ask why it's not listening on port 2002.
It doesn't look like a Python problem at this point.
