Greg,
   I gave a look to pyrex, and it seems to be satisfying the 
requirements for object-oriented C bindings.
I think it is good since it allows for choosing which level to work 
on. At lower level you can control any aspect of the interface, 
whereas at higher level the interfacing language is generic enough to 
allow easy auto-generation, as well as SWIG already does.

You done a great work, thank you very much indeed to made it available.

One question: when are you going to add class inheritance?
