You read c.l.p through dbforums.com, which appears to be some form of
newsgroup-to-web-forum gateway. To the majority of us who read c.l.p with a
newsreader, or have an email subscription to python-list, talk of "forums"
and "padlocks" is puzzling and meaningless.
