Shall we have a name-your-favorite-pointless-move-to-a-standard-protocol
contest?  I have a soft spot for the XMLization of Microsoft Office, be-
cause it so obviously did not and will not "open" the format, yet 
journalist after journalist bought the Microsoft marketing propaganda in
that regard.
