Cameron,

Another suggestion would be for Erez to consider running
xmlrpc or Pyro on Windows machines and accessing them from 
Linux. I've found this approach usually preferable to using
telnet -- even though I wrote an expect-like telnet recipe
for the Python Cookbook.
