Is Python overhyped (just like Java)?

And this is *why* they use Python:  because it's slow and uses a lot of
memory.  C++ is obviously outdated as it is unable to use the massive
amounts of memory and cpu tme that Python can.  Think of the difference
between DOS and Windows XP:  which uses more memory?  Which is slower? 
It's clear that *modern* software gets full utilization of that
expensive CPU you bought, while old stuff, like DOS and C++ just let it
go to waste.
