Mertz's mugshot is quite prominent on the IBM pages (those who question
his python bonifides stand justified - note the lack of mustache[1]).
re: "Lulu" I interacted (via email) with both Mertz and Lulu[2] many times
and very differently before I noticed they shared an email address.

[1] google for the video "introducing pyhthon" to see mugs of your favorites.
Strangely Guido is the lone bare-faced man. And ESR rivals Stallman for
his "is this the early seventies?" look.

[2] I don't know David personally, but I come from the land where you call
men by their last names until they do something notorious enough to
warrant a nickname. Or as Lulu might say, "the patriarchy"

nb, I started two sentances in the footnotes with conjuctions and I don't care.
