OT a funny thing happend at work

Here at my new job we are working on two different pieces of software.
One of them is written primarily in Perl.

There was a discussion of the need to change a method name in the Perl 
application. This method is called in many places and would be very 
difficult to change by hand.

So after the meeting I told our chief engineer, who also happens to also 
be a very good friend of mine, "Hey, do you want me to write a Python 
script to fix your Perl code?".

He bought me lunch for that one.
