Hi!

  well I'd reccomend you see OCaml (the most not ML-like dialect of ML
:) ), Prolog (gProlog is the dialect I use..) and Logtalk a very
interesting OO dialect of the former. Each having some bells and
whistles of their own, quite clean, very useful and allot of fun...

NOTE: there is a number of python libs to bind to Prolog so both
worlds can be used together! (though did not see any of the sort for
OCaml)
