setup.py syntax error building python-imaging

PROBLEM SOLVED.  I found an rpm built especially to install python-imaging 
under RH7.3.  Now I can use Sketch.

[The rpm is available at the Sketch web site.  It would not download 
yesterday...but mysteriously, it worked today.]
