True, 2.3b1 overwrites all of 2.3a1 in /usr/local/{bin/lib}, but I have
separated copies of the source files in my home directory, in the
subdirectories Python-2.3a1 and Python-2.3b1. It wanted just to be sure
that no other files where left in strange directories (as typically
happens under Windows :-()
