Eclipse as IDE, who has experience?

Has someone experience using Eclipse as IDE?
Bad/good experience? 

Because most of the developers in our department are using Eclipse for the Java environment, I tried the plugin from http://pe4eclipse.sourceforge.net/ but the only thing that is working is the syntax coloring. Perhaps my setup is not correct.

Still, I'm not sure if I want to give up emacs.
