EOL - scanning single-quoted string

Here, you should double the '\' character, but it also raise an error:
"bogus escape (end of line)"
You can try:
    re.subn('/', '\\\\', str)
The result string will be "\\My Documents\\test", and '\' will be usable
for next call.
