Yikes!  That's surprisingly hard to judge conclusively.  Perl/Tk
is definitely faster.  Tkinter is definitely more portable.  Each
has several more subtle advantages.

I maintain the official FAQ for Perl/Tk--yet I prefer Tkinter.
