Python 2.3.3 : Win32 build vs Cygwin build performance ?

Hi,

Is it me, or does anyone else get significantly better pystone results under
Cygwin versus the standard Win32 build ?

CYGWIN 1.5.6 + python 2.3.3-1 :
$ time python /usr/lib/python2.3/hotshot/stones.py

This machine benchmarks at 21331.1 pystones/second
