Front end python backend php

Take a look at XML/RPC (www.xmlrpc.com). If you publish the python backend
over XML/RPC, you can call it directly from PHP.

I have a front end developed in PHP
Now I want to develop the backeend(database connection & stuff) in
python.
How can I call a python module from php on submitting my page??
Also how can i output the values return by python module on gui which
is developed in PHP ??
