I don't know, I've never had the need, nor desire, to change Python
syntax.  Michael Sparks gave a good link though.

Well, they are wrong.  The Python language has no 'macros' in the
language sense..  Applications have used Python for scripting and/or
'macros', but they are not 'macros' in the language sense.
