SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:
You will be a key member of a project team to develop and deliver core
modules of a breakthrough product in a venture capital backed start-up
company.  You will be responsible for defining, designing and
implementing
complex software and participate in the decision-making for product
features
and the software life-cycle.  You will be expected to take a greater
leadership role as the company grows.

Qualification Musts:
-BSCS, BSEE or Masters in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering
-Software development experience on Linux, HP, or Sun
-Experience in OO software design and implementation
-Excellent problem solving skills
-Strong leadership and written/verbal communication skills; team player

Qualification Pluses:
-Languages: Python, C/C++, Matlab, Cadence SKILL
-Experience setting up and working within a development methodology and
environment for commercial Linux/HP/Sun software
-Software testing methodology and tools, and QA
-Code versioning
-Make / compiling
-Configuration management
-System administration knowledge
-Understanding of microelectronic circuits
-Experience with SPICE-like simulator interfaces
-Experience with Cadence, Mentor and/or Synopsys / Avanti analog EDA
tools
-Have used optimization or intelligent systems algorithms
-GUI development experience

ANALOG IC ENGINEER

Responsibilities:
You will be a key member of a project team who will work with
customers in defining product features and functionality for a
breakthrough analog electronic design automation (EDA) software tool
in a venture capital backed start-up company.  You will have the
opportunity to travel to customer sites and work with other analog
engineers to drive successful use of the software for developing
complex analog/mixed-signal chips.

Qualification Musts:
- Masters or PhD in analog IC design, or Bachelors in Electrical
Engineering
  with minimum 2 years analog IC experience
- Strong written/verbal communication skills; team player
- Excellent problem solving skills

Qualification Pluses:
- 5+ years analog experience
- Experience with tcl, perl, Verilog-A, SKILL, OCEAN, or other
  scripting languages
- Matlab scripting experience
- Experience with Cadence Analog Design Environment/Spectre/Virtuoso

  Synopsys Cosmos/Hspice, Mentor DA-IC/Eldo
