python 2.5 bug

1. read "How To Ask Questions The Smart Way"[1]

2. read "How to Report Bugs Effectively"[2]

3. don't call something a "bug" if the "bug" is likely the person
   sitting in front of your computer

4. don't do something you don't fully understand (in this case
   installing Python 2.5 and uninstalling Python 2.4)
