xml.dom's weirdness?

this is what I get, on both Windows and Linux:

 >>> import xml
 >>> xml.dom
Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'dom'
 >>> xml.dom
Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'dom'
