md5 differences

Hi there!

I'm trying to match the results of an md5 checksum done in a tcsh shell.
I keep getting different results and can't find anything on google...

here's an example:

Arno at Computer:~% echo "hello" | md5
b1946ac92492d2347c6235b4d2611184

Arno at Computer:~% python
Python 2.5.1 (r251:54863, Jan 17 2008, 19:35:17)
[GCC 4.0.1 (Apple Inc. build 5465)] on darwin
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
 >>> import md5
 >>> md5.new("hello").hexdigest()
'5d41402abc4b2a76b9719d911017c592'


How do I get the same results?
