I'd say the import mechanism got confused about the actual source of the
error. Probably it happened on line 3 in *another* module, but the
traceback got messed. Perhaps "core" is a package and contains "import
data" at line 3?
The $Id: stuff comes from some version control system -probably svn- and
identifies the file version.
