equation of a graph

hii..

i am working with graphs,
my problem is to find the equation for any given graph.

i tried with  *"polyfit" function*.
but that only give me the slope and y-axis intercept. hence *"best-fit
line" *   ,
but i want to find *"best-fit curve" *

how can i find that ?
