Where are python module installed?

Hi,

I configured python-2.6.2 with my own --prefix, then 'make' and 'make
install'. I only find the following dirs and I don't find any python
modules in the directory. Do python modules come with python-2.6.2?

$ ls
bin  include  lib  share
