Confusing, desparate MySQLdb problems...

Of course! how did i not realise that... it wasn't the python-eggs
directory, but the directory containing the modules (namely /Library/
Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6/lib/python2.6/site-packages)
- i changed the permissions, and its all sorted!
