Determine what msvcrt.getch() is getting?

Just print it.  Like this:

import msvcrt
ch = msvcrt.getch()
print (ch)

for a bit more information, do this instead:
import msvcrt
ch = msvcrt.getch()
print(type(ch), repr(ch), ord(ch))
