Newman's community structure algorithms

Hello,
I am in need of the python or matlab implementation of following algorithms:

Newman, M. E. J. 2006. Modularity and community structure in networks. PNAS 103(23): 8577-8582.
Newman, M. E. J. and Leicht, E. A. 2007. Mixture models and exploratory analysis in networks. PNAS 104(23): 9564-9569.

If anyone could share that or guide me to a possible source, I shall be immensely grateful.
