Create a list of functions:

ops = [lambda obj: obj,
       "<span class='H'>{}</span>".format,
       bool,
       bool,
       lambda obj: obj,
       bool,
       escape,
      ]

then use zip to pair them up with their arguments:

results = [f(x) for f,x in zip(ops, tup)]
