from x import *
# frowned on by many as reader will not necessarily know what that 
imports, conflicts are possible, and if you import * twice, reader may 
really not know what came from where

from x import y,x  # fine, common, used in stdlib
import x as y  # ditto
from x import y as z  # ditto
