Detecting if a library has native dependency

I'm using snakefood to make dependency graphs.
You can get it from PyPI.  It uses its own tool called sfood to make a
list of dependencies, but I am not sure how tweakable that is to get
the list of what you want.  Worth a look, at any rate.
