Good indentation:
def function():
# four spaces per indent
print("hello")
print("goodbye")
Bad indentation:
def function():
# four spaces per indent
print("hello") # four spaces
\
print("goodbye") # two spaces, then backslash, then two more
The second example will be a SyntaxError.
