It means that the expression (fruit for fruit in favorite_fruits) 
evaluates to a generator object.

Perhaps you wanted to run the generator, perhaps like this:

 >>> favorite_fruits = ['watermelon', 'blackberries']
 >>> print(*(fruit for fruit in favorite_fruits))
watermelon blackberries
