i'm glad you get it ( that the inconsistency is weird. )
(1) print(1, sum( [1,2,3,4] ))
(2) print(2, max( [1,2,3,4] ))
(3) print(3, sum( * [1,2,3,4] ))
(4) print(4, max( * [1,2,3,4] ))
both 3,4 should be good OR
both 3,4 should be bad. ------------ that's what i think!
