Indeed, I work on a project that by convention puts editor instructions
at the end of each file (which some might consider junk :-) ), like this:
# Local Variables:
# tab-width:4
# indent-tabs-mode:nil
# End:
# vim: set expandtab tabstop=4 shiftwidth=4:
