@Aisha,

The nairaland post is the little I can do. Talking about Linda, who would
be assigned to send her a mail?

@meetup things
I suggest that the date to be chosen not be first Friday or Saturday in a
month because of traffic issues that characterizes Ikeja/Secretariat axis.
These days, for those who do not know, are usually used by two religious
bodies as their days of special worship and it leads to a lot of traffic
issues on Lagos Ibadan expressway.

For refreshments, I suggest we give generously through a pledge that the
person who said it would be willing to fulfill. When we gather this, we
would know what type of meal that would be made available.

If we leave it to people coming with what they can afford, that is equally
OK, but the people involved should also indicate what they would bring so
that we can take stocks. How about a Google doc to collate the things for
the meetup?

I also would suggest, for our meetup, how about those of us who know
technologically driven companies that could be of help. We do not want to
be called bad names so we leave out those that are into politics and
concentrate others.

Does anyone know how to get across to Seun Osewa by mail? He used to
communicate with me in the past but has stopped. I know that nairaland.com
was developed with CherryPy. Seun is also a Pythonista but I do not know if
he would want to come out. I guess Mark Essien of hotels.ng might be able
to do that (@Aisha, can you handle this aspect?).

All I have said here are my personal opinion and can be corrected.
