Hello dear Pythonistas,
I hail thee. So after taken into consideration all the nominations
suggested. We need to put this to a vote. This is important because we are
registering PyNigeria as a recognised not for profit in Nigeria. So I beg
everyone of us to go on to Slack. Voting will end on Monday the 16th.
There are 3 channels on Slack that has been created #votes_chair,
#votes_secretary, #votes_treasurer. Just head on to the channels and do a
tick box for whoever you intend voting for in each category. If you are not
on slack please drop your email privately, and we will add you asap.
News: We are in talks with the Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative to
teach 200 under privileged secondary school girls programming in the coming
months. When all the details has been finalized I would be giving you guys
real time updates. Meanwhile one of the things we need to do ASAP is get
our community website up and running. If you would like to help out
especially with the design(logo et.al) please do get in touch.
With Warm pythonic greetings,
Aisha Bello
p.s- If you haven't already seen it, an article I wrote about DG Lagos got
