Hi Richard,

I am a member of Python West Midlands and am one of the people that
volunteered to help organise the September conference.

Maybe you should not have mentioned it and you might have gone for
free! (just kidding)

I paid by card and it was done automatically, so it seems cheque
cashing is a bit slow, sorry about that, this is the first time we
have done this, and we all volunteers and only a few of us are
authorised to deal with our bank account at the moment as it takes a
little while to get everyone identified with the bank, etc.

Your cheque will move from the secretary to the treasurer so I will
talk to them to see where it is now and I will email you off-list. If
you registered then you are in the database and have a place at the
conference and the dinner, so do not worry about that.

I have, and dozens of other people have taken up the early bird
discounts. Booking is still open at http://pyconuk.org/booking.html

For those of us without who are paying personally, rather than out of
employer's budgets, then you certainly do not want to pay the
unsubsidised final door price. The price is all inclusive, including
the conference dinner at one of Birmingham's poshest hotels.

If you have problems then just let us know, you can email
help at pyconuk.org which goes to all the volunteers or you can email me
or any of the volunteers directly if you prefer.

Best Wishes,
Zeth
