As I mentioned when this was pointed out on the Python Wave a few days ago, DJUGL isn't announced here, on the wave nor on IRC etc... I guess I don't follow the right lists. :-( Also, we've been quite public in saying the meeting will take place in the first week of every month in order *not* to clash with the Pyssup (also advertised here).
It's too late to change now as we've got five talks booked, people have reserved tickets and we've advertised it. Who organises DJUGL? perhaps we can at least coordinate for next time.
I *completely* agree that the more Python events happening in London the better and we've all shot ourselves in the collective foot with the clash (not that Python have feet, but you get my drift).
In future *I'll* endeavour not to organise anything that clashes but this is dependant on knowing about what else is happening.
