I'm looking for an experienced web developer with strong Python
knowledge for a new startup.

Title: Senior Developer
Reporting: to CTO
Salary £35k to £40k
With Possibility to earn equity in company
Start Date: Beginning of August, 2011

Summary:
This is an opportunity to become the first developer for a funded
startup being created by an entrepreneur with a proven track record.
The successful candidate will have a say in shaping the culture as
well as the technical direction of the new company.  This is a great
chance to get involved in a brand new team and new a system.

Responsibilities:
Review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods.
Develop and manage the new system and its on-going upgrades.
Working closely with other business departments; write software and
build automation continuously to enhance the core offering and
automate back end processes.
Contribute to building and managing a team of developers (local and
remote) as the company grows

Requirements:
BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related field
Fluency in Python; and familiarity with one or more of: Java, PHP, C++
Knowledge of working with Google App Engine
Good understanding of supporting technologies such as HTML,
Javascript, CSS, Web services, JSON, XML
Expertise in data structures and algorithms
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Excellent communication skills a must
