[PythonCE] Using Tkinter
Voidspace

I used the package posted *with* the Tkinter files and unzipped it
*into* the root directory as in the installation instructions.
So the tcl8.4.3 directory is in the root directory of my device.
It was with this distribution that I got the error message I posted.
What is slightly suspicious is that *nowhere* in this distrinbution does
a directory "/lib/tcl8.4 " exist... so either it's an old message - or
it's looking in the wrong place :-)
I *haven't* yet made the registry changes as it's not something I've
done before - although I'm quite willing to have a go and have a program
that will help me do it.... I'm trying to move the distribution onto the
storage card as this will save me a lot of space - \\Storage
Card\\Python is in sys.path - so it ought to work fine for the python
files - I guess thi means I'm going to need to make the registry
changes anyway......
Any assistance much appreciated - it was very exciting to see a Tkinter
window on my pocketPC..... (Hey - I'm the kind of guy who gets excited
by GUI windows.. ok ?) !!
