Yes: does anyone still use this? If not (I'll also ask in the Python
newsgroup) I would like to drop it. It would also shave quite a bit
off the 68K interpreter (not as important for PPC or for the mythical
once-to-come cfm68k interpreter, but a boon for current 68k versions).
