[PYTHONMAC-SIG] imgbrowser on mac?

Whats the status of the img extension on the mac? I looked through the sig
archives and saw no mention of it post 1.4 release.

Do these extensions work? if so, what do I do with the built libjpeg,
ligpbm, and libtiff such that the python core can access them?
