As of 1.5.2 the version-number scheme of the library has been sanitized, and 
it is (in principle) possible to create modules that will be 
forward-compatible. In practice I think it'll still be necessary to recompile 
often, because the underlying CodeWarrior C library also changes, and it's 
definitely not safe to have an extension linked against one version of the C 
library and then embedded in a Python that uses another version. But we'll 
see....

The only thing we have is http://www.cwi.nl/~jack/macpython.html, but I have 
very little time to keep it up-to-date. What I would really like is if someone 
else out of this group sets up a starship account to act as a clearinghouse 
for everything macpython-related.
