[Pythonmac-SIG] Python Mac app vs. MacPerl app - a correction

I tested it, and actually the TEXT resource in a MacPerl Run-Time Version 
applet is the whole program, the rest, including the <DF> (DATA FORK) is 
just MacPerl-helper. The only reason i could come up with that Macperl 
wouldnt open an app is if the source code in the app was too big to edit 
in macperl, but even then, it should suggest you edit it in your default 
text editor, and if you click okay, it should spit the source out to that 
editor, which can indeed be BBEdit, but doesnt have to be.

Anyway, a python app for mac is a fancy .pyc - and the fact that its not 
.py source is good, it gives you the option of sending the source code or 
not. .py text files arent usually so big its a hassle sending them, 
surely?
